After a busy 2013, the Company is being recognised in both the Innovation of the Year Equipment category, as well as the sought-after Best EfW Initiative (Energy from Waste) category.
Both nominations are based on the Company’s revolutionary “Thermitech” clean technology system that allows clients to eliminate non-organic waste on-site using Pyrolysis technology (the use of extremely high temperatures to vaporise waste products). It also enables the client company to profit from energy by-products in the form of gas and an oil residue that can be used on-site.
By using the compact Pyrolysis unit that’s no bigger than a shipping container, Thermitech’s clients eliminate the need for the costly transporting of waste to landfill, as well as negate landfill waste fees of up to £100 per tonne. These significant benefits are boosted by the additional financial and eco benefits that come from producing their own EfW supply that directly offsets the rising costs of energy bills.
“We are delighted to have been short-listed in these prestigious categories, says Thermitech Managing Director David Martin. “We have been working behind the scenes on our Pyrolysis Technology for some time now, perfecting the process and outcomes.
“It is very exciting to finally be able to start shouting about our successes and the huge benefits for our clients; both in terms of the many economic savings but also the green credentials that come with it.”
